The UT Gardens in Knoxville, Crossville and Jackson are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Admission is typically free to the public, although certain events may charge an entrance fee to enter the gardens.
Our physical address (Knoxville site) is 2518 Jacob Drive, Knoxville TN 37996 (Please note - when using a gps or mapping service you may not be directed precisely to the garden entrance)
Parking is limited during the week (Monday thru Friday, 8-5). There are 10 parking spaces reserved for UT Gardens visitors. They are located in the southeast corner of the parking lot, just opposite the plaza. Other spaces in that lot are for permit-holders only, and you will be subject to ticketing if you park in them. Garden Tours and Field Trips
The UT Gardens offer scheduled tours of the gardens at various times throughout the year. In addition, we are happy to accommodate garden clubs or schools that wish to arrange for a special tour. To schedule a tour please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 865-974-7151.

Professional Photography Policy
The UT Gardens in Knoxville are proud to provide an attractive venue and colorful setting that has become a popular location for all types of photography in the East Tennessee region. Considerable materials and labor are required to maintain the Gardens to the high standard that has attracted so many professional photographers to use the Gardens in their work.
As a result, starting March 1, 2011, the UT Gardens will implement the following Professional Photography policy. ‘Professional Photographer’ being defined as one who charges a fee for their services.
Professional photographers who wish to take advantage of the UT Gardens’ as part of their commercial work are asked to become Friends of the UT Gardens at the $100 level or above. These funds will directly support the maintenance and upkeep of the UT Gardens. Membership information is available at http://utgardens.tennessee.edu/membership.html.
Photographers who do not wish to become Friends of the UT Gardens at this level may schedule photo shoots on the grounds for a fee of $35 per hour. Non-member (commercial) photographers who bring clients to the UT Gardens without scheduling in advance, or without paying the sitting fee, may be asked to leave the grounds.

Directions to the UT Gardens
To get to the UT Gardens in Knoxville, from I-40 take Exit 386B onto Hwy 129 (Alcoa Hwy toward the Airport). From Hwy 129 take exit for Hwy 158 (Neyland Drive). Turn left at end of exit ramp. Turn left onto Joe Johnson Drive, and right at next light onto Chapman Drive. Visitor parking is directly across from the entrance to the UT Gardens, and is marked with signs for "2-Hr Visitor Parking."
To get to the UT Gardens in Crossville, from I-40, take exit 311. Turn right onto Plateau Road and follow it approximately 2 miles until it dead-ends at West 70N. Turn left, go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Experiment Station Road. (From Crossville - go approximately 7 miles on West 70N and turn right onto Experiment Station Road.)
To get to the UT Gardens in Jackson, from I-40, take Exit 80-A. Merge onto Highway 45 Bypass. After approximately 3 miles, turn west at Highway 70 (Airways Boulevard). West TN AgResearch & Education Center will be immediately on the right.
