Acer japonicum, commonly known as Fullmoon Maple is closely related to, and easily confused with Japanese Maple. Leaves have 7 to 11 lobes and are more roundish than a Japanese Maple. It is a plant of interest for its delicate habit and its rainbow of fall colors.
