This site was created to support 220 - Basic Landscape Plants,
and was made possible through a 2001 Teaching With Technology
Grant from the University of Tennessee
Objectives
- To enhance the learning and retention of the key identification
criteria, common names, and botanical nomenclature for basic landscape
trees and shrubs used in the East Tennessee area
- To encourage self-directed learning
- To allow students to utilize plant identification characteristics
that are not present when they are enrolled in the class due to
seasonal changes
