Blooms Days 2014 - Garden Festival & Marketplace

Join us for the 12th Annual Blooms Days Garden Festival & Marketplace! Enjoy workshops and demonstrations, browse the marketplace, check out the HGTV HOME Showcase Garden, create crafts and explore the insect zoo in kids' corner, listen to live music from local bands, get your horticulture questions answered by Knox County Master Gardeners, learn more in the Bonsai and Rose shows, and sample some tasty local food in our food court.

Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, 2014
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day (Rain or Shine)
In the UT Gardens on Neyland Drive in Knoxville


Tickets at the gate are:
Members - $5 per day OR $7 for both days *(you can join or renew onsite)
Non-members - $8 per day OR $10 for both days
Children 12 and under admitted FREE

*Please Note - The UT Gardens in Knoxville are closed to the public during our Blooms Days Festival on May 9, 10, and 11, 2014, beginning at 5pm on Friday and continuing through 8pm on Sunday. During festival hours (9-5) you must pay admission in order to visit the Gardens in any capacity; after hours garden entry is prohibited.

Kids Corner

Children will enjoy the Insect Zoo. They can also participate in several 'Make & Take' Projects. East Tennessee Children's Hospital will provide a physical activity and nutrition station (Saturday only).

Hungry? Stop by our food court and sample delicious food from local food trucks, including Hawg Dawg's, Gonzo Gourmet, Mediterranean Delights, Tootsie Truck (Sunday only), and Dale's Fried Pies (Sunday only).

Mothers' Day

Celebrate Mothers' Day at Blooms Days! On Sunday, moms will receive a free daylily from Oakes Daylilies (Sunday only - while supplies last). Have a family photo made by Hurley Co. Photography in the Beall Family Rose Garden (Sunday only - additional fees may apply).

Ask a Master Gardener, Bonsai Show & Rose Show

Ask a Master Gardener - Hosted by the Knox County Master Gardeners in the vendor tent. Master Gardeners will be available to answer your questions related to horticulture: is your garden being attacked by disease or insects, when's the best time to prune, when is the best time to plant in east Tennessee...

Bonsai Show - Hosted by the Knoxville Bonsai Society in the Environment and Landscape Laboratory
The Knoxville Bonsai Society is hosting its annual Bonsai Show. See prize-winning Bonsai from around the region. Talk with expert Bonsai growers and learn a few tricks of the trade.

Rose Show - Hosted by the Tennessee Rose Society in the South Greenhouse corridor.
Tennessee Rose Society members will display cutflower roses straight from their gardens. Stop by, see the beautiful displays and learn how to have the best roses in your yard from local Rosarians.
